Complete brand transformation for an industrial IoT + AI platform — from DesignX to Df-OS. Repositioned as a Digital Factory Operating System with enterprise-grade identity and communication.
Df-OS (formerly DesignX) is an industrial digital transformation platform combining IoT, AI, and ML to create a Digital Factory Operating System. Despite powerful technology, the original brand name "DesignX" failed to communicate the platform's depth and enterprise-grade capabilities.
StradonAI was engaged to execute a full rebrand — from renaming and visual identity to ongoing brand governance across every communication channel. We didn't just redesign a logo; we repositioned the entire narrative from design tooling to an industrial operating system, and continue to function as their external brand department.
DesignX had built a sophisticated industrial IoT + AI platform, but the brand wasn't keeping pace with the technology. The name suggested design tooling rather than a comprehensive factory operating system, creating a fundamental disconnect with enterprise buyers and investors.
Without a brand identity that communicated industrial authority and systems-level thinking, the platform was being undervalued in conversations that mattered most — enterprise sales and investor pitches.
The original name "DesignX" didn't reflect the platform's depth as a digital factory operating system — it suggested design tooling rather than industrial AI infrastructure.
Without a brand identity that conveyed systems-level authority, the platform struggled to position itself credibly in enterprise sales and investor conversations.
No consistent multi-channel voice existed — website, social media, investor materials, and presentations each told a different story with no unified brand narrative.
Audited the existing DesignX brand against market positioning requirements. Developed and aligned the new name "Df-OS" — Digital Factory Operating System — shifting the narrative from design tooling to industrial systems authority.
Created a complete visual identity system — logo, typography, colour palette, iconography, and design language — built to convey industrial precision, enterprise credibility, and technological depth.
Developed the communication framework across all channels — website messaging, social media voice, LinkedIn authority strategy, investor pitch decks, and presentation templates — with a unified brand narrative.
Established and continue to manage ongoing brand governance — functioning as their external brand department with oversight across all touchpoints to ensure consistency and strategic alignment.
